Buy A Website, Save the World

Before you run, give us five minutes. Whether we, you, or anyone else believe in climate change, surely every one of us can agree that we could all be better stewards of the world we live in. Each of us can find day-to-day ways to conserve energy, reduce waste, and encourage the cultivation of renewable resources.

Here are a few ways that PediaWeb is committed to protecting the environment and reducing our potential impact on climate change:

1. We Telecommute.

   By not having a central office of operation, we eliminate vehicle carbon emissions and extensively reduce the amount of electricity we consume.

2. We’re (mostly) Paperless.

   While we’re not completely paperless yet, we’re committed to reducing the amount of paper we use inside and outside our business.

   Whenever possible, we send our clients PDF documents via email, which reduces the need for printing and consuming ink. When you fax us a document, it arrives in our email inbox, also eliminating the need to print. Any paper used in our offices is recycled when discarded.

3. We Sell Renewable Products and Services.

   When you purchase a website or sign up for an email marketing account from PediaWeb, you’re taking a important step toward reducing the need for paper-based communication with your patients and clients.

   A PediaWeb website is a gateway of communication with your patients. You can add unlimited amounts of content, allow patients to subscribe to your website feed, and send them regular updates, reminders and greetings through your email marketing account. All without using a single sheet of paper.

While we know we’re not perfect (computers use significant amounts of energy as well), we want you to know that we’re committed to doing what we can, when we can to be environmentally responsible.
